The CA concert band is an organization that we are very proud of.  Over the years, the band has performed in many venues locally as well as out of state.  For the spring tour in 2011 the band went to Washington D.C. and among the concert performances, they played at the Lincoln Memorial as well as Fort McHenry.  The band also played the national anthem at two home games for the Atlanta Braves during the last two years.

For concerts in our local community the band has played for Veterans Day events, the children at Chambliss Home as well as the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Mr. Gregory Lindquest is the band director this year, taking over from Mr. Richard Hickam.  Mr. Lindquest is also available for private lesson instruction.

There are 50 students in band this school year.  Mr. Lindquest has selected music from a variety of genres.  His attention to musical details has resulted in a pleasing sound for the listener.

During the 2011-2012 school year the band meets for class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 – 9:33 and again on Fridays from 9:42 – 10:25.
